Piers at PSFK has been running some fantastic conferences for the last couple of years. Ones that are made up of a diverse, eclectic bunch of people talking for short periods of time, alone or in panels, rather than the usual preacher in the pulpit, "here's our credentials presentation" that sadly make up the vast majority of conferences. (Adrian, who is participating has written a great post that I think sums up the strength of this conference).
The next one is in San Francisco on July 17th and I've very kindly been asked to moderate a panel. More on the speakers later, but we'll be having a conversation about making inspiration matter - not just where you find inspiration but how you turn it into something that is useful and usable.
There's a great bunch of people talking from the worlds of business, technology, science and communications and it looks like a great way to spend a day and hear a whole mix of smart, interesting, provocative stuff. You can get more information and buy tickets here.
