Andrew Hovells, aka Northern Planner, has very kindly suggested that people pop over for a visit here.  I could feel duty bound to reciprocate but I'm advising that you should go and pay a visit because it's a cracking read.  Lots of great thoughts on planning and advertising but also some fantastic recipes.  Best of all is his very generous, thoughful and most importantly practical planning advice.  Great thoughts on finding a strategy, how to use and do research and briefing creatives.

I couldn't agree more. Although I haven't tried any of NP's food recipes [yet], the planning recipes he shares on his blog are to be found in some of the best posts ever written in the planning sphere. It's insightful, practical, intelligent and inspiring.
