Ikea are doing some great stuff in the UK at the moment. Worth visiting their new 'ad' site that celebrates the home, not the house. A great truth, particularly in the troubled times of Northern Rock and the sad belief that a home is a tool for profit rather than a vessel of memories.
They're also sponsoring a great social photography site/book/TV show that will takes a collage of snapshots of the UK at home over 7 days (not dissimilar to America 24/7).
Another great example of a brand doing lots of stuff and having a point of view bigger than itself or it's category.
This is exactly the point I was trying to make with Mr. Clean assignment - Live in a clean house or lead a clean life? Am I wrong in my thinking?
