    My inner geek

Went out with a few guys from work last night to see Bob Mould play a short solo show at the Paradise Lounge.  He's probably my favorite songwriter so it was great to hear a bunch of stuff from across his career (Husker Du, Sugar and solo stuff) as well as a couple of new songs (one of which is for the album after next and both were brilliant Workbook-esque tunes).

Bob re-recorded one of his songs from Workbook for the TIAA-CREF campaign we recently launched  and I was thrilled and flattered that he took time to say hello to us and have a chat.  It's a good night when you say hello to someone who has been a big part of the soundtrack of your life.
