    Good things should never end

Well, Fallon London keep doing rather good stuff.  Here's the new ad promoting Orange's  new unlimited text offer based on a very simple thought - good things should never end.

And there's a great site to accompany it done by the fantastic people at Poke.  Again, a nice simple idea - the world's first neverending web page.  Great stuff.

I like this, but thought of Sony - especially the Singaporean Bravia ad out, by y&r i think in fact.. more 'appropriation'? or too much agency consistency across brands? or just a good ad? hmm, like the website anyway..love the blog btw too, inspirational for a grad like me.

    Balls + Cog.

yeah, maybe fallon are getting a bit of a house style and it does have a little Wieden Honda magic but I guess real people outside the industry don't see that and just watch the ad or spend time on the site rather than ignore it and do something else.

I reckon this is pretty cool too - it comes up when if you press the red button when you see the ad. Really sweet animation.

    Come off it Gareth.

The Fallon work is spot on - makes me feel really good. But isn't the Poke work a classic example of the strategic vacuum in digital at the moment. the idea is that good thing shouln't come to an end so what does the digital idea end up as - a website that doesn't come to an end. Can't we all do better than that?

I agree and disagree. yes, maybe it could go further but they both work in a way that is a) coherent and b) want me to spend time with them. which, for a free text offer, isn't bad. how's things?
