Just great

Telly ads when done well are still in my mind the most amazing way to make you feel differently towards a brand.  The new Orange ad in the UK is the latest evidence of this.  Just gobsmacking to watch and a wonderful dramatization of a human truth.

What's even more amazing is discovering the back story that it was shot 'for real' with no use of CGI - there's a link to three 'making of' films here (thanks to AdLand).

Feels like an ad that captures the truth of our herd nature - people are indeed good together.

Trouble is while it may be a beautiful ad it looks and sounds exactly like a European T Mobile ad. Orange have had beautiful advertising campaigns over the years while their market share decreases and decreases...
