A select few of the Account Planning Conference main stage presentations are now available for your online viewing pleasure. If you only have time to watch one of the three, resist the temptation to watch Chuck Porter and check out Dr. Bob Deutsch. He was a crowd favorite, and rightfully so.

Hi Steve,

Thanks

I stumbled on your blog looking for some reading on Andrew Deitchman. I agree with your posts that his presentation was super, but Dr. Deutsch over Chuck Porter? You lose all credibility there. You may not like Chuck and his agency but they have been named the agency of the year by every valid advertising authority out there. Dr. Deutsch couldn't even show his fellow presenters the respect of keeping within his time limit. And I don't agree with the assumption you're making that everyone was showing their affection for him by applauding. I certainly wasn't. Neither were the people I was sitting around. We were simply showing him the respect due anyone who spoke at the con.

Thanks for the comment, Eric.
Sure, he blew his time limit, but so did virtually every other speaker. (Were and of the Gold presentations near their allotted 15 minutes.) I think that most of the applause for Dr. Deutsch's was sincere. Let's not forget that every speaker that came after referenced his talk in some way.
What was your personal favorite from the main stage?
(P.S. I still think Porter's presentation was a softball.)
